Engage Hard Places
Acts 29 - A diverse, global family of church-planting churches

Though it may be easier for Christians to transform culture or even withdraw from it, what does it look like to engage culture, and do it well? Hundreds of church pastors, lay leaders, and staff joined together at Engage 2017 to dive into the topic of engaging the culture – a conversation relevant for all believers. Engage featured 25 speakers and 20 workshops, and was held May 1-3, 2017 in Reno, ‘The Biggest Little City in the World.’

Ty Neal’s session challenged attendees to think about how well they reach the hardest place of all – themselves. Acts 20:28 commands readers to pay careful attention first to themselves and then to the flock. By learning to engage their own pain with the Good News of Jesus, pastors and leaders can better lead and minister to those around them.
