Before Andrea came to Iglesia Bíblica Jesucristo es el Señor, an Acts 29 church planted by Freddy Nava in Venezuela, her life felt empty and without purpose. Even when she achieved her goals, the emptiness remained.

At the same time, her marriage was broken and nearing its end. In this vulnerable season, it was the local church that pointed her to Christ.

The church walked closely with Andrea and her family, offering biblical counsel, prayer, support, and care during financial difficulties. Through this faithful community, Andrea began to understand the purpose for which she had been created: to live for the glory of God.

Then, the gospel changed everything.

“The moment I responded to the gospel message was like discovering the world for the first time,” Andrea shares. “It was as if everything had always been there, but I simply hadn’t seen it.
One day God was someone important in my life, and the next day he became the center of my existence, a point of no return where I knew there was no going back.”

When Andrea placed her faith in Christ, the church celebrated with her—and continued walking beside her. Through the patient care of fellow believers, she has experienced Christ’s grace in seasons of struggle, pregnancy, raising her daughters, and growing in faith.

Today, Andrea’s marriage has been restored, and she says: “the gospel has become visible in my most difficult moments and in every stage of my life.”
