These evocative words come towards the end of Paul’s letter to the Romans. He wanted to go to Spain to plant churches and he wanted to pass through Rome so that the church in that city could provide him with help for the journey (Romans 15:24). This help would involve spiritual, personal, financial and human resources. It would be holistic help.
We don’t know for sure if Paul ever made it to Spain, the ends of the earth as far as he was concerned. But we have inherited his mission, and we, too, need help for the journey in our beautiful and difficult continent. So that is why Acts 29 Europe will be gathering in Costa Blanca, Spain in May 2020. We want to provide help for all church-planters on their church-planting journey. We want to connect, inspire, inform, mobilise, resource and equip planters, teams and church-planting churches across our continent. We want each person present to be helped and to be a help to others.
This conference is for all who want to help and be helped on the journey – church-planters, church leaders, church members. The best way to get maximum benefit is to come with a group of people from your church and to discuss and debate how the content and tools that we deliver can be practically applied to your context.
Our speakers and equippers will be drawn from your practitioners and leaders in Europe. Among them will be Philip Moore, Reuben Hunter, Tomas Henzel and Andy Prime.
A. To assist those for whom the registration cost would be a hindrance, you will be given an opportunity at the end of your registration to contribute to this. Thank you in advance for your generosity. More information here.
The nearest airport is Alicante. Many low-cost airlines and European holiday operators fly to this destination. Here is a list.
The journey by car is 40 minutes. Nearer the time, we will let you know about how you can book a place on a shuttle bus. We will arrange these during the main arrival and departure times. At all other times, there are taxis and an airport bus leaving every 15 min going to Benidorm. From there you will need to take a taxi (ca. 10€).
