Worship Pastor / Director

The Worship Pastor at Calvary Church of Pacific Palisades plays a crucial role in leading and developing all aspects of worship and production ministry. This individual will be responsible for cultivating an environment of authentic worship that inspires spiritual growth and connects the congregation to God. The role includes leading worship during weekend services, overseeing the recruitment and development of the worship team, and ensuring that the worship ministry aligns with the church’s mission and vision.

The ideal candidate will have:

• A deep, personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a genuine passion for leading others in worship
• A strong commitment to biblical teaching, prayer, and discipleship, with a heart for growing spiritually alongside others.
• Proven experience in leading worship in a church context, with strong musical and vocal abilities.
• The ability to lead worship vocally and proficiently play at least one instrument (e.g., guitar is preferred)
• The ability to inspire and lead a diverse team of volunteers, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• An agreement with Calvary Church’s theological beliefs and mission, and a heart for ministry and outreach.
• A strong ability to plan, organize, and execute worship services with excellence and collaboration, with administrative help available for support.
