As flooding impacts parts of Southern Brazil, Acts 29 churches are coming together to support our brothers and sisters in Acts 29 churches affected by the flood. One Acts 29 church has flooded and lost everything. At least 15 families from two Acts 29 churches have been left homeless. Both the church and the families will have to rebuild once the flooding recedes.

Acts 29 Brazil churches are stepping into action to come alongside those churches and support them from within the country. Acts 29 Brazil churches have given $10,000 USD, but local Acts 29 leaders expect the need for the families’ immediate necessities and for church building repair to be closer to $40,000 USD (or more)*.

We encourage you to consider whether you and your church might contribute to this timely effort as an expression of partnership with these churches. Give below.

*Up to $30,000 of funds gathered before May 30, 2024, will be distributed to Acts 29 Brazil as they support and minister to churches and communities affected by the 2024 floods. All contributions are made with the understanding that Acts 29 and Acts 29 Brazil have complete control and discretion over the donated funds, including the right to use such funds for other purposes consistent with their tax-exempt mission.
