PHILIP MOORE

Philip Moore is married to Rachel and they have five children. In 2006, Phillip moved to France to pastor a church in the Paris area. Since then, by God’s grace, the church has planted three daughter churches and trained and sent a couple to plant a church in the centre of Paris.

TOMÁŠ HENŽEL

Tomáš is married to Silvia and they have three children. He is a bi-vocational church planter in Slovakia. After replanting in Nitra, their family planted in Bratislava in the summer of 2018. Tomáš leads a small network of planters in Slovakia longing to see Christ's glory imaged in many new churches in the region.

Alberto is married to Ashley and they have four children. He was born in Spain, but his family moved to the United States during his teen years. He and his brother, Francisco, planted Iglesia Bautista Fe de Sevilla in 2012 and he now serves as one of the pastors of the church.

Brian Howard has over 20 years of proven leadership experience as a leadership coach, non-profit executive, church planter, lead pastor, and business owner. Brian holds a Master’s degree from Talbot School of Theology, has been married for 26 years to the love of his life, and has four children.

Dan Steel serves as the senior pastor of Magdalen Road Church in Oxford, England. Before returning to his hometown of Oxford, he helped plant Grace Church Stirchley in Birmingham, England. He and his wife, Zoe, have four children.

Jonathan, born into a missionary family, grew up in Italy and was touched by grace as a teenager. Passionate for the spread of the gospel in Italy, with his wife Annette, they have been involved in church planting (and growing), most recently in Palermo (Sicily). He now coordinates Impatto (A29 in Italy).

MEZ MCCONNELL

Mez McConnell is the senior pastor of Niddrie Community Church and Co-Director of the Acts 29 initiative Church in Hard Places. He spent four years working with street children in Brazil where he planted the Good News Church. He is the director of 20Schemes, a church planting and revitalization initiative in Scotland. Mez is married to Miriam and has two daughters, Keziah and Lydia.

DOUG LOGAN

Doug Logan is an associate director for Acts 29 and has been in urban ministry for nearly 25 years. In 2011, he planted Epiphany Fellowship of Camden with his wife, Angel. They have three sons and three grandchildren. He serves as the president of Grimké Seminary, founded On the Block Collective, and is the author of ‘On The Block.'

HUNTER BEAUMONT

Hunter Beaumont is Lead Pastor of Fellowship Denver Church, which exists to see a gospel movement that fills Denver with disciples of Jesus. He also serves on the boards of Denver Institute for Faith & Work and Acts 29 US West. Hunter is a softcore outdoorsman, avidly mediocre at several Colorado pursuits: skiing, cycling, and fly fishing. He has a MTh from Dallas Theological Seminary and was a CPA in his previous life.

ETIENNE KONING

Etienne and Laurence plan to plant a church in the 9th arrondissement of Paris, where there are many opportunities for witnessing and evangelism. The district is made up of a very diverse population, from young workers to the homeless, from families to seniors. As many national and international companies have established their headquarters there, a large number of people come to work there: an ideal environment to proclaim, embody and live the Gospel in the Paris of the 21st century!

Steve a ‘born and bred scouser' is married to Sian and they have four children. Steve has been a Pastor at Cornerstone Church, Liverpool since November 2009 when he came with a small team to work with the existing elders and congregation to replant the church. Steve has coached, assessed many church planters and supported a number of church plants and revitalisations across Europe.

Kerem is married to Buse and has two children. He planted Antalya Protestant Church in Turkey, back in 2010. A year after that Via Christus Ministries came to life to provide resources for Turkish believers. He has a heart for the Turkish people since many have never heard the gospel.

Which meals are included in the price?
The 140 € conference fee includes all meals and breaks during the main conference, starting with the afternoon coffee break on Tuesday and ending with lunch on Thursday. For every night you stay, breakfast is included for the next day (this applies to all regardless of whether you paid the conference fee or not). Please wear your name badge at all times. This will show us that you have paid the conference fee and gives you access to the restaurant during the main conference.

Is there a dress-code?
We have no specific dress code at the conference. Most of the indoor spaces will be air-conditioned. Wear what you feel comfortable in. The restaurant has a “no beachwear” policy.

Will the theme park be open?
Due to the pandemic, the Terra Mítica theme park is currently closed.

Guests do, however, have free access to the Mundomar Animal Park with impressive sea lion and dolphin shows. The park is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. You should receive free entry tickets when you checked in. If not you can request these from the hotel reception. The taxi costs 15€ each way and takes approximately 15 min.

Are there any additional charges I should be aware of?
Additional drinks or meals purchased will have to be paid for at the time of purchase using a credit card. You will not be able to charge anything to your room. 

Is there a Spa area? 
Entrance to the Spa area has an additional cost of 25 € per adult. All outdoor pools both at the hotel and villas are free of charge.

Is there a fitness centre?
Yes, it is located in the hotel.

Where can I order a taxi?
For going down to Benidorm, you can order a taxi from the reception. There is normally only a 5-10 min wait. 

For longer journeys please book in advance.

After dark
When walking from the hotel to the villas at night, please do not go through the theme park but instead use the green path at the front of the hotel.

Where can I get fresh towels?
Your rooms will be checked daily. If you require your towels to be replaced, please leave them on the floor.
