Sarah* grew up in a large polygamous family, surrounded by religion but without truly knowing Jesus. That changed in high school when she was invited to a youth camp hosted by Sojourn Uganda. It was her first time hearing the gospel and sitting under clear, biblical preaching—and she was captivated.

Over the next year, Sarah kept attending Sojourn gatherings, learning more about God’s Word. When she returned to the youth camp the following year, her heart was ready. There, she placed her faith in Christ.

Today, Sarah is a thriving university student who still participates in Sojourn’s discipleship programs whenever she can. Her passion for Jesus is evident as she shares the gospel with her friends on campus, eager for them to experience the same life-changing hope she found in Him.

This story occurred in an Acts 29 church, Sojourn Church Uganda, led by church planter Besweri Walujjo. *Name has been changed for cultural reasons.
