Description

Charis Community Church began in 2007 with the vision of revealing the whole gospel to the whole person for the sake of the whole world. We are a community of people who are being continually transformed by the gospel of Jesus, seeking to transform Bloomington/Normal for God’s glory.

Our shared values as Charis are the worship of God through Jesus, the realization of community in Jesus, and the missional lifestyle given to us by Jesus. To help us worship God through mission and community, Charis gathers regularly throughout the week in Gospel Communities and Tripods.

Gospel Communities are smaller groups that gather together, seeking to live out our identity in Christ as a community that exists by the gospel, for the gospel, empowered through the gospel.

Tripods are gender specific groups of three who meet together regularly to fight sin and believe the gospel together.
