Soma Communities Spokane is a movement of smaller communities that are shaped by the gospel of Jesus Christ, learning to love one another as His Family, and joining in His Mission in our city. In that sense, we aren’t a church as much as a movement of churches that are living as His Servants in neighborhoods across our city. Jesus calls each one of us to be His Learners, following Him as disciples who make disciples.

Periodically, Soma Spokane won’t gather on a Sunday. We call these weekends “Church Scatterings,” and view it as an opportunity to be about God’s kingdom work together. Email us at info@somaspokane.org for more information.

Our primary work takes place in our Missional Communities. A missional community is a committed core of believers who live out the mission together in a specific area or to a particular people group by demonstrating the gospel in tangible forms and declaring the gospel to others—both those who believe it and those who are being exposed to it. Missional Communities operate unlike a Bible study and more like a family, a missionary team, a band of servants and eager learners.
