General Description
This role provides focused administrative, organizational, and communication support to the Vice President of Church Planting. They will  manage scheduling, travel, communication, and meeting logistics, ensuring the VP of Church Planting is informed, prepared, and supported. This position also serves as a key liaison with internal teams and external contacts, requiring discretion, responsiveness, and excellent relational skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
-Provide daily administrative, organizational, and strategic support to the Vice President of Church Planting across all areas of work.
-Serve as the first line of communication on behalf of the Vice President of Church Planting; monitor, manage, and respond to all email, calls, and messages promptly and professionally throughout the workday and as needed outside normal hours, especially during travel.
-Manage all aspects of the Vice President of Church Planting’s calendar, ensuring meetings, events, and travel are well-coordinated, confirmed, and conflict-free, with adequate preparation and margin.
-Coordinate and confirm all meetings, meals, and events initiated by or involving the Vice President of Church Planting.
-Attend select meetings and events (virtually or in person) to provide logistical support, take notes, identify action items, and follow up as needed.
-Book and manage all travel arrangements, including flights, ground transportation, hotels, meals, and itineraries—being available during and outside normal hours for real-time changes as needed.
-Maintain regular, proactive communication with the Vice President of Church Planting to keep them informed and supported.
-Collaborate closely with other Acts 29 administrators to ensure accurate scheduling, updated agendas, and smooth execution of team priorities.
-Participate in team rhythms and staff meetings (Zoom and in-person), with availability to travel to quarterly gatherings, conferences, and events as needed.
-Support the Vice President of Church Planting by preparing high-quality documents, presentations, and materials; assist in budget planning and ensure monthly goal updates are submitted on time.
-Manage the Vice President of Church Planting’s podcast schedule, including guest booking and coordination with the producer and communications team to provide needed details for publication.

Standard Requirements
Travel: Overnight travel required at times (4-6 times/ year).
Policies: Must adhere to Acts 29’s Handbook, Statement of Faith, Information Security Policy, and any additional policies required of Acts 29 staff.
Equipment: Must return any Acts 29-purchased equipment upon termination.
Support: Must utilize Acts 29’s data, financial, and communication policies systems for Acts 29 operations.
