Role Overview:
Redemption Church is seeking a spiritually mature and musically gifted Minister of Worship. This person will be responsible for leading the church to worship our God each week. As a leader, he or she will direct and oversee the worship and production teams who help make our gatherings possible, fostering spiritual growth and relational connection on our teams. The Minister of Worship will navigate a balance in our desire to do things with excellence alongside a heart of grace and love for God’s people. We are looking for someone who wants to build upon a great foundation already laid in our worship ministry while bringing his or her own skills and passions to our church. The ideal candidate would possess a high level of musical skill, creativity, and the ability to craft deep, meaningful worship services alongside the Lead Pastor. We see the entire worship gathering as a single experience where each piece of the service works together toward a common goal.
The ideal candidate will have a deep commitment to walking with Jesus daily, the ability to lead others in a healthy way, and a desire to be a joyful, fully-engaged member of our church and staff. If married, this person’s spouse should be excited about our vision and mission, and comfortable living as a devoted member of our church family.

Redemption Church is a growing and inviting community establishing itself as a thriving church amidst the ongoing development in Downtown Edmond. Our vision is to help everyday people wake up to deep, meaningful life in Christ.

We seek to boldly proclaim God’s word and the gospel in clear and compelling ways that resonate with a diverse group of people. We realize that discipleship happens in all of life, and we are intentional about connecting people in authentic community, challenging people to deeper theology and formation, investing our lives to make a difference in our community and world.
With our move into our home in downtown Edmond, we’ve seen new people joining our church, classrooms bustling with kids, and new ministries launching. In our day, people are weary and skeptical about commitment to institutions, especially religious institutions. But we are finding that our location and our space is opening doors for us to offer the joy of Christ in the heart of our city.
