The Preschool Minister reports to the Kids Director and is a full-time position with weekend responsibilities. They faithfully serve birth – preschool children, volunteers, parents, and other members of the Next Gen team by planning, preparing, and overseeing weekend services, discipling and caring for volunteer teams, and providing general ministerial presence to TVC.
Responsibilities
- Lead and execute weekend services in Little Village.
- Recruit, disciple, develop, and care for volunteer teams, individual volunteers, and deacons.
- Disciple, develop, and care for children and families.
- Assist in the development and management of the preschool curriculum.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Agree with The Village Church’s Expectations of Membership, Statement of Faith and Theological Distinctives, and commit to exhibit a lifestyle that is consistent with the same
- Undergraduate degree required
- Leadership skills and the ability to cast vision and manage a team
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Written and oral communication skills
- Identify, recruit, train, and develop leaders
- Administrative skills, including knowledge of Google Suite
