Position Summary

The Human Resources Director is responsible for compliance, compensation, benefits, personnel management, and performance development.

Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee organizational compliance with current employment law
  • Oversee the administration and management of our employee benefits program
  • Oversee personnel management including onboarding and offboarding employees
  • Maintain a compensation program and strategy to ensure appropriate and fair pay
  • Direct the annual performance review process
  • Equip employees by providing development resources to enhance staff performance, leadership, and growth.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Agree with The Village Church’s Expectations of Membership, Statement of Faith and Theological Distinctives and commit to exhibit a lifestyle that is consistent with the same
  • 5+ years of experience in HR, including experience in leading an HR team
  • Professional certification in HR
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in leveraging HRIS platforms and modern workplace technologies
