Los Angeles Campus Ministry Staff
Decision Point is an evangelical nonprofit focused on equipping, sending, and reaching students on school campuses and online. The ministry partners with churches and mobilizes students to share the gospel with their peers.
Position Summary
We are seeking a Christ-centered Campus Ministry Staff member to coach students, develop campus ministry, and build relationships with youth pastors, churches, schools, and community leaders. Staff spend 50–75% of their time in the field during the September–May ministry year.
The ideal candidate is passionate about evangelism, relational ministry, leadership, coaching, and reaching young people for Christ. They should be entrepreneurial, organized, visionary, and an excellent communicator who works well with others.
Responsibilities
Coach and equip students to reach their peers for Christ.
Develop and maintain relationships with churches, youth pastors, schools, and community leaders.
Visit schools and chapter sites regularly to support student leaders.
Build partnerships and expand ministry impact throughout the Los Angeles area.
Lead and develop others through coaching and servant leadership.
Participate in ministry events, travel, and outreach activities.
Help plan and manage ministry goals and activities.
Participate in fundraising and develop a team of financial and prayer supporters.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
Ministry experience in a church or parachurch setting preferred.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Strong organizational, leadership, and coaching abilities.
High moral integrity, spiritual maturity, and a servant-hearted attitude.
Passion for Jesus, the gospel, and evangelism.
Willingness to travel regularly in the Los Angeles area and occasionally nationwide.
Able to work 45+ hours per week and commit to long-term ministry service.
Compensation
$48,000–$64,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications. Staff are also expected to raise financial and prayer support, with training and ongoing coaching provided by Decision Point.
