Position: Executive Pastor or Associate Pastor of Operations & Discipleship
Status: Full-Time
Reports to: Lead Pastor and Elders

Our Mission
Liberti Church seeks to live, speak, and serve as the very presence of Jesus Christ for the Camp Hill region, that together we might enjoy and share the freedom of His Gospel.

Purpose of the Position
To provide operational and discipleship “backbone” to Liberti Church. In collaboration with the elders and staff to make the church’s vision practical and implement it. This position, comprehensively, plays a pivotal role in carrying out the overall mission of Liberti Church.

Job Description
Core Responsibilities

Organizational Leadership
Support the Lead Pastor in strategy, decision-making, and execution across ministries
Lead staff meetings, staff development, and team culture
Oversee onboarding, reviews, and HR functions
Coordinate elder meetings, retreats, and leadership rhythms
Build systems to track spiritual growth, leadership development, and congregational care
Oversee strategic planning and annual budgeting (with Finance Team)
Provide oversight of policies, procedures, and compliance
Directly supervise key operational staff and contractors
Provide leadership for special initiatives (e.g., fundraising, church planting efforts)

Pastoral Leadership
Lead and oversee key discipleship environments (Leader Track, In-Covenant Class, Liberti 101, Gospel Class)
Oversee Liberti Institute and teach as needed
Provide structure for premarital and pre-engagement counseling
Preach 4–10 times per year (depending on gifting and experience)
Administer sacraments and serve visibly in weekend worship gatherings
Maintain an accessible pastoral presence within the congregation

Qualifications
Meets biblical qualifications for eldership (1 Timothy 3; Titus 1)
Demonstrates personal maturity, godliness, and devotion to Christ
Proven leadership, administrative, and decision-making ability
Committed to ministry excellence while maintaining healthy spiritual rhythms
Degree in biblical or theological studies and ordained (or pursuing ordination)
Preferred 5+ years pastoral experience
