Leonardo De Chirico, Rome, is pastor of Breccia di Roma, a church planting work in central Rome that started in 2009. Prior to this, he has been involved for 12 years in planting and then pastoring an Evangelical church in Ferrara. He is lecturer in theology at IFED (Istituto di Formazione Evangelica e Documentazione) in Padova, and editor of the theological journal Studi di teologia. He is also vice-chairman of the Italian Evangelical Alliance. Since going to Rome, he has began writing regular “Vatican Files“, short reports and reflections on trends and issues about Roman Catholicism. He is married to Valeria and they have two teen-age boys: Filippo and Akille.
