People’s anxiety is at an all-time high, yet hope is at an all-time low. Now hardly seems like the time to invest in church planting, start new initiatives, or to be thinking about multiplication, vision, and the future. And yet, God has a vision for the world. His Word says he will saturate our cities with the knowledge of his glory. And he has invited us into his vision for the world.

Despite the challenges we face, we still need to lead our churches with vision. In this recording of Jim Essian’s main session teaching at the Acts 29 Advance Conference in Omaha, Nebraska, he says, “The future of the church is for those who have bold vision and take risks for the glory of God. We are far too loved to be afraid to fail.”
