Church planting movements are a subject of much discussion in missiology. There are many who think it is a horrible practice while others say it is a Holy Spirit driven movement. This seminar is not designed to say who is right, but will focus on the background, motivations and where we are at this moment on the issue. The goal is to see how this movement formed so that we can cultivate a more robust theological discussion concerning the pros and cons of this approach to church planting and missions.
